The iPhone 5s was just recently released and pack in with some new tech.The samsung was unveiled 4 months ago which is like 4 years in the tech world. Lets put them head to head
Screen
Apple have always been lacking behind on screens since Samsung started making touch screen phones
where the 5s is just an update it still has the same screen resolution.Seriously Apple have kept the 326 ppi screen since the 4s.While Samsung have one of the best screens to offer a brilliant 441ppi.
The S4 wins this one.
Camera
Even though the S4 has a 13 mega pixel and the 5s 8 the pixel density are the same and if you look at side by side pictures of them the 5s has a slight edge. The 5s also has a duel led flash giving the user more realistic pictures.

Battery
The S4 has a 2600 maH battery while the 5s has a minuscule 1570 maH battery. You'll be surprised that the battery life is around the same because of the superior amount of pixels which drains the battery.

Well the S4 has been out for a while now so its price has dramatically dropped so its hard to say the 5s is pretty pricey but so the S4.By the time its January the phones will be around the same price.

Well if your constantly getting your phone stolen then the 5s is for you, Touch ID is practically unhackable and apple offers some of the best in-ear earphones.The S4 has wireless charging and a whole load of extra features (which only about 20% of people use) like "eye scrolling" and "hover"
which are GIMMICKS, the S4 is a good phone but having all these unnecessary features raises the price a lot.
The iPhone 5s wins
OVERALL
Its up to you.If you want a phone with loads of features the chose Samsung.For great security and simple phone with a nice operating system and premium feel get an iPhone.
Personally I'd get the iPhone 5s
