Multi monitors vs One monitor

Monitors are essential for computers as you can't use a computer without one but how many do you need?

Gamers

Two or more monitors can certainly be useful for gamers,for twitch streamers you can have one monitor on the chat or forums to search something up and the others for the game.It can also be quite useful for a surround setup all you don't want anything bigger than 24 inch monitors for a surround setup unless you have great peripheral vision or you want to constantly turn your head.

Web browsers / spread betters 

This could be usual if you want more than one full size windows.Otherwise there aren't many other perks to having this.


Video / Photo / Music editors

This is very useful if you waiting for something to render or your rendering more than one video for youtube although it won't speed up the process you will be able to see the progression of the rendering while edit or just casual web browsing. Music editors will be able to have multiple tracks on different monitors.


If you can afford it multiple monitors will generally be a good idea.If something goes wrong you will always have back up monitor to still use.There is also less of a chance of getting dead pixels.
