If you don't what a bios is it's what you boot into when you turn on your motherboard, and if you don't know what UEFI is a bios it's a bios where you can use your mouse but do you really need it.
A UEFI bios can be espicially helpful if you new to building or setting up computers instead of using your keyboard to navigate around the bios.You can still use your keyboard to navigate if you find that better and the extra convinence doesn't come at much of a preimium.Gigabyte Z87 UEFI at $106 VS NOTHING.No decent motherboards theses days come without UEFI if you do find a motherboard without UEFI it will be aleast 4 years old.
